In Oregon's Multnomah County, they take class actions seriously. So seriously that presiding Judge Dale Koch is considering setting up special rules for handling such cases. On 2 March 2007, judge Koch will conduct a meeting attended by interested members of the plaintiff's bar, the defendant's bar, and the Multnomah County bench.
